What does this mean for you?

  • You won’t be able to buy leads or recharge credits during the pause (from 27 February 2025), but you will however be able to buy leads until then.
  • If you have unused credits, you will be refunded. Just open your app and update your banking details
  • You can still use Kandua to send invoices and quotes to your private customers.
  • If you’ve completed TrueID verification, your Pro website and customer reviews will remain live.
  • If you have not been TrueID verified, your Pro website will be removed on 31 March. Don’t worry, you can download your work photos and all your customer reviews

When will the kandua.com marketplace be available again?

We estimate the pause will last around six months. However, we will keep you updated on our progress and share any changes to the timeline.

Can I still use my Kandua account during this time?

Yes, you can still access your Kandua account and do the following:

  • Send invoices and quotes to private customers
  • View past jobs
  • Request a credit refund in-app
  • If you’ve completed TrueID verification, your Pro website and customer reviews will remain live.
  • If you have not been TrueID verified, your Pro website will be removed on 31 March. Don’t worry, you can download your work photos and all your customer reviews
What happens to my credits?

If you have unused credits, you can request a refund directly in the app. Just open your app and update your banking details.

Will my Pro profile and customer reviews stay live?
  • If you’ve completed TrueID verification, your Pro website and customer reviews will remain live.
  • If you have not been TrueID verified, your Pro website will be removed on 31 March. Don’t worry, you can download your work photos and all your customer reviews
What about my previous jobs and customer details?

You will still be able to access your past jobs and customer information in the app.

Can I still find work through Kandua during this time?

Since the kandua.com is paused, you won’t receive new job leads from Kandua. However, you can still use the invoicing and quoting tools to manage private jobs and stay connected with past clients.

Yes! Kandua is not shutting down—we’re coming back better than ever. Santam and our team are investing in this next phase to make sure Pros can earn more and grow their businesses more effectively.

Will my website or reviews be affected by the renovation period?

No, if you've completed TrueID Verification your Pro website and customer reviews will remain live, and when Kandua returns, you’ll pick up where you left off. If have not completed TrueID verification, your website will be removed, but you can request a PDF copy of your reviews to share with potential clients.

Will Kandua still be supporting Pros during this period?

Yes! You can still contact Kandua Support for assistance with customer disputes. Our support team will continue to help Pros during this period.

Will pricing for leads change when Kandua comes back?

Can I still advertise my services using my Kandua website?

If you have completed TrueID verification, your website will remain live, so potential customers can still see your profile and read your reviews. If you have not completed TrueID verification, your website will be removed, but you can request a PDF of your customer reviews to share elsewhere before the 31st of March 2025

Will there be a waiting list to join Kandua when it returns?

Will I need to create a new account after the revamp?

We will let you know exactly how to get reactivated on Kandua as soon as we are back.

Will there be training or support to help me adjust to the new system?

This is all part of the revamp strategy, our team is working hard to make the transition to the new system is seamless as possible. Our Support Team is also on call to assist you with any questions.

I’ve heard about insurance jobs through Kandua. How can I apply for this?
